The implementation and integration of new methods control techniques to floating offshore wind turbines (FOWTs) have the potential significantly improve its structural response. This paper discusses idea integrating oscillating water columns (OWCs) into barge platform FOWT transform it a multi-purpose for harnessing both wave energies. Moreover, OWCs will be operated in order help stabilize by means an airflow strategy used reduce pitch tower top fore-aft displacement. objective is achieved proposed complementary valves within OWCs. comparative study between standard OWC-based shows improvement platform’s stability.
